Challenge to Conquer Cancer

Thursday, October 15, 2009 - 11:01 - jrigdon
Last year 23 cyclist of varying skill levels (some cancer survivors themselves) and 15 support team members took the challenge riding 1,500 miles to participate in the Challenge to Conquer Cancer.  This is the Lance Armstrong Foundation's signature annual fundraising event.  It was amazing! Not to mention the money raised for Greenville Hospital System and the Lance Armstrong Foundation for cancer research.
P3 is a nonprofit organization benefiting cancer research through fundraising athletic events.  They are a wonderful group of dedicated cyclist all giving their personal time to raise money and make this ride happen. This year the ride will be Oct 18 - 26.
