Giving Voice to the Silence - Support, Educate, Research

The face of Ovarian Cancer looks just like yours.

This year, more than 20,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

More than 15,000 American women will die from ovaian cancer this year.

That's a 75% mortality rate.

Until there's a test, awareness is best.

The South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation:
Giving Voice to the Silence.

The South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation (SCOCF) was created by ovarian cancer patients, healthcare providers, and other concerned individuals for the dissemination of information about ovarian cancer. Our group has been built for the support of ovarian cqncer patients, for the education of the public and healthcare providers, and to further research on ovarian cancer in the state of South Carolina.

The disease continues to be a leading cause of death in women in the United States. At this time, many women diagnosed with ovarian cancer have advanced disease and require prolonged medical treatment. We at the foundation would like to see this change so that fewer women have advanced disease and that all women have the availability of support, and access to information if they so choose.
